Protein expression analysis
Strain specific PDPN expression analysis in homozygous B-hPDPN mice by western blot.
Lung tissue was collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hPDPN mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-PDPN antibody. Mouse PDPN was only detectable in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human PDPN was only detectable in homozygous B-hPDPN mice but not in wild type mice.
mRNA expression analysis
Strain specific analysis of PDPN gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hPDPN mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Pdpn mRNA was detectable in brain of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human PDPN mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hPDPN mice (H/H) but not in wild type mice.
