Strain specific MARCO expression analysis in heterozygous B-hMARCO mice by flow cytometry. Peritoneal elucidates macrophages(PEMs) were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and heterozygous B-hMARCO mice (H/+) stimulated with thioglycolate broth in vivo, and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-MARCO antibody. Mouse MARCO was detectable in wild-type and heterozygous B-hMARCO mice. Human MARCO was exclusively detectable in heterozygous B-hMARCO but not in wild-type mice.
