Strain specific analysis of LYPD3 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hLYPD3 mice by RT-PCR. Stomach RNA was isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hLYPD3 mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human LYPD3 primers. Mouse Lypd3 mRNA was detectable only in wild-type mice. Human LYPD3 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hLYPD3 mice.
Western blot analysis of LYPD3 protein expression in homozygous B-hLYPD3 mice. Various tissue lysates were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 (+/+) mice and homozygous B-hLYPD3 mice (H/H), and then analyzed by western blot with anti-LYPD3 antibodys. 40 μg total proteins were loaded for western blotting analysis. hLYPD3 was detected in esophagus in homozygous mice; mLYPD3 was detected in lung and stomach in wild-type mice.
