Strain specific analysis of JAG2 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hJAG2 mice by RT-PCR. Lung RNA was isolated from wildtype C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hJAG2 mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human JAG2 primers. Mouse Jag2 mRNA was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human JAG2 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hJAG2 mice but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific JAG2 expression analysis in homozygous B-hJAG2 mice by western blot. Heart, lung, and kidney were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hJAG2 mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-JAG2 antibody. hJAG2 was detectable in lung of homozygous B-hJAG2 mice. The protein expression level of JAG2 was relatively low in the heart and kidney of homozygous B-hJAG2 mice.
