Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD5L mice.
The exons 1~6 of mouse Cd5l gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CD5L exons 1~6 in B-hCD5L mice.
Strain specific CD5L expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD5L mice by ELISA. Plasma were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD5L mice (H/H) analyzed by ELISA with species-specific CD5L ELISA kit. Mouse CD5L was detectable in wild-type mice (A). Human CD5L was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCD5L mice but not in wild-type mice (B).
