The exons 1-5 of mouse Cd200 gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CD200 exons 1-7 in B-hCD200 mice.
Strain specific CD200 expression analysis in heterozygous B-hCD200 mice by flow cytometry.
Splenocytes were collected from wild type (WT) mice (+/+) and heterozygous B-hCD200 mice (H/+), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CD200 antibody. Mouse CD200 was detectable in WT mice (+/+) and heterozygous B-hCD200 mice (H/+). Human CD200 was exclusively detectable in heterozygous B-hCD200 mice (H/+) but not in WT mice (+/+).
